Context and background.
In 2017, Afrika-Solidarity had already built a new health post in the village of Fotouni to promote basic medical care in this village community of approximately 6,000 inhabitants. However, further challenges remain to ensure the ongoing operation of the health posts and the sustainable care of patients.
Project goal.
Qualitative improvement of basic medical infrastructure and the permanent safeguarding of healthcare across the entire Fotouni village area.
Activities.
- Supplying 2 health posts with power generators
- Supplying with refrigerators and freezers
- Supplying with operating tables and transport stretchers
- Supplying with blood pressure and blood sugar monitors
- Supplying with various medicines and infusion stands
- Providing mosquito nets to the village population
- Providing reading glasses to the village population
- Providing oral hygiene care kits
