Initiative Afrika-Solidarität Deutschland e.V. — known as Africa Solidarity — is an international aid organisation, founded in 2006 in Germany and recognised as non-profit. Politically and confessionally neutral, we engage in African development countries on behalf of communities suffering hardship, poverty and illness — with the aim of helping them escape the endless cycle of misery.
We develop and implement aid projects ourselves — from concept to on-site review.
We design projects together with local and international partners and contribute actively.
We answer requests from local partners — when their plan aligns with our purpose under § 2 of our charter.
Cooperation only with professional, competent and recognised organisations or institutions.
Respect for social and cultural diversity — regardless of origin, faith or political view.
Effectiveness and sustainability for beneficiaries — aiming to make ourselves dispensable.
Reducing hardship, poverty and their dramatic consequences in the development countries of Africa — through concrete and effective measures with immediate and lasting impact.
Regardless of political view, religious faith or ethnic origin, we build our work on two pillars: the voluntary engagement of our members, and local partnerships in the target countries.
Legal representation per § 26 BGB.
Coordination of project partnerships.
Association organisation, minutes, general assembly.
Finance, annual accounts, donation receipts.
