Young farmers in West Cameroon learn the basics of organic animal husbandry — chickens, pigs, rabbits. Goal: protect the environment and increase household income.
In West Cameroon, many young farmers lack the expertise for sustainable and productive livestock farming. Conventional methods strain the environment and yield low returns. This project teaches biological alternatives.
Training in: organic chicken breeding (selection, feeding, prophylaxis, housing), pig and rabbit breeding, determining daily nutritional needs, vitamins and minerals. Special focus on hydroponic feed and natural feedstuffs.
